General Motors said today that it is putting two of its five corporate jets out of service because the planes are not being used enough. The top three executives at GM, however, will continue to use the private luxurious jets for all of their business and personal travel, despite a flurry of criticism over the perk following an ABC News report this week.

How brave. Cutting two of five jets out and still using the other three to blaze a trail across this country to beg for tax payer’s dollars. They have the worst public relations team ever.

There’s a big auto show this weekend and it’s full of vehicles that no one wants.

Hybrids and gas mileage aside, the big three need to come up with something cool.

It took CNN days to retract the story but here’s what actually happened. The G20 introductions are very formal. There is a large room (where the video above begins) that houses G20 leaders as they flow in. President Bush greets world leaders outside as they exit their vehicles. They pose for a photo and quick chat and then the President brings them into the ‘large room’ I mentioned for a second photo. What you’re seeing in this video is G20 leaders greeting one another after they have all been photographed with the President — in very friendly poses.

The fact that CNN missed this and Rick Sanchez believed it is not a surprise to me. You see, Rick Sanchez was a local broadcaster in Miami for years. I’m quite familiar with him. His lean back in and I’m-totally-comfortable delivery has annoyed me for years. I’m convinced a Roomba has more brain power than this clown. When he’s not getting tanked and killing people with his car on the way home from a Dolphins game, he’s falling for crap like this. What a joke.

If Sanchez actually wandered away from MySpace long enough to follow a news wire, he’d know that there was a story involving handshakes and snubs at the G20 — but it had nothing to do with this video. CNN may have retracted the story… but the real damage is already done.

A 19-year-old man has committed suicide live on the internet encouraged by others who were watching, according to reports.

The teenager, named as Abraham K Biggs, from Broward County, Florida, took an overdose of pills while broadcasting himself on Justin.tv, a live video streaming website.

On a chat forum he told others he was going to commit suicide and posted a suicide note on another forum before taking the pills and turning on his webcam.

The 19-year-old lay on his bed and only after several hours of no movement did others begin to take him seriously. With the video still running, forum members managed to contact the local police who eventually broke down the door, found the body and switched off the camera. Up to 1,500 people were viewing the feed, according to one report.

I’ve been scouring some low-hanging areas on the Internet to learn more about this. It seems this kid was a frequent poster on a body-building web forum and he told folks on that site he would be killing himself live on camera this night. He had threatened to commit suicide many times before but this time he would follow through. I hate to post a video of a man getting mauled by tigers followed up by a video of a kid committing suicide on the Internet but I post what’s out there.

“People were egging him on and saying things like ‘go ahead and do it, faggot,’ said Wendy Crane, an investigator at the Broward County Medical Examiner’s office.

I had a very brief association with this website a few years back and I can tell you the folks who run it aren’t out for content like this. Justin.tv has exploded in traffic this year and you’re bound to have terrible incidents like this over time. As for the kid who killed himself, his MySpace page shows he was more than just a little depressed. Comments on his page suggest friends were attempting to contact him and sensed something was wrong.

He lived in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

You can tell by the on-screen comments from the person who recorded this video that the Internet culture has spawned a crowd that won’t hesitate to offend anyone — even the dead.

Nordin Bin Montong, 32, a Malaysian working as a cleaner at the zoo, leapt into the moat of the white tiger exhibit and was attacked, said Biswajit Guha, assistant director of zoology at the Singap More..ore Zoo in a statement.

The noise from the attack caught the attention of zookeepers nearby and they eventually managed to distract the tigers and rescue Nordin.

“Keepers managed to separate the worker from the tiger. While waiting for the ambulance, our vets attended to him,” said Guha. “The worker tragically succumbed to his wound.”

The attack happened about a week ago but this cell phone video of the shocking event just surfaced so far as I can tell. Mr. Montong was ‘agitating’ the tigers before the video begins.

George and Cindy Anthony told News 13’s Melissa Crabtree that their working relationship with NeJame is over and that they believe Caylee was in Orlando this week.

They have a photo taken by an eyewitness at the Florida Mall on Sunday that they provided to News 13, as well as to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI.

The photo shows a girl playing, who they feel looks a lot like Caylee.

George Anthony said that, at this point, he’s going to start skipping the chain of command and aggressively align himself with anyone who can help the search effort for a live Caylee — whether it’s law enforcement or the media.

Sure, it looks a bit like her, but there are tons of little girls that look like Caylee Anthony. This doesn’t erase the mounds of evidence that point us in the real, yet painful, direction of this case.

As of 10:30PM EST they are still working on him on the stage area.

WASHINGTON – Attorney General Michael Mukasey has collapsed during a speech and is being taken to a hospital.

Associate Attorney General Kevin O’Connor says Mukasey began shaking during a speech to the Federalist Society and collapsed. He did not immediately regain consciousness.

Some pretty Jaw-dropping predictions in there…

Unfortunately, I have made the decision that it is best not to continue my representation of George and Cindy Anthony.

George and Cindy have a belief that their beloved granddaughter, Caylee, is still alive. Tips and leads continue to come in. I believe strongly that they should have every right to maintain their hope and faith that one of these “sightings” will miraculously be the one that brings Caylee home to them. What parent or grandparent would surrender such hope?

Who is one person to tell another parent or grandparent when it is time for them to abandon their faith? When does a stranger have the right to judge another who has endured such a loss? The attacks made against them by some are deplorable.

Let them be to do what they feel they must to find their beloved granddaughter, Caylee. Knowing this case as well as probably anyone on earth, there is no doubt that they do not know where Caylee is. Allow them to walk their own path.

Clearly, their inability to grasp the fact that their grandchild is dead is what split the Anthony family apart for their high-profile attorney. They’re in the toughest of tough spots.
