Take A Ride On ‘The Abortion Boat’
By docking their boat at harbours around the world, Dutch NGO Women on Waves allows women to skirt abortion laws by operating in international waters. On Friday the group arrived in Spain, to a particularly cold reception.
At about half past five on Friday afternoon, “Aurora” sailed into the port of Valencia. The Dutch NGO, which has been offering abortions to women on its “floating clinic” More.. for several years, was met by about a hundred pro-life activists shouted “fascists!” and “murderers!”, while a small motor boat tried to stop the vessel from mooring. Also on the quay: pro-abortion activists, and between them, a police barrier, and a group of surging journalists.

Chum The Waters!
Reply to shfelbyWow. It’s not as big as I would have expected.
Reply to jasonFunction over form, in this case I guess…
Reply to Shawn WassonI’m sure they are a growing enterprise looking to expand, but under an Obama tax plan they will have a harder time buying a bigger boat and hiring more employees.
Reply to shfelbyThank God for these people who will help so many women out of desperate situations, in lands that don’t guarantee women equal rights or the right to prosecute male rapists
Reply to RacerXYeah! That’s right.
Reply to shfelbyIn fact, I wish there was a floating gas chamber that would sail into countries harbors that don’t allow capital punishment, and take rapists and murderers out into ineternational waters to administer the death penalty.
Yeah… like that bastion of backward thinking, Spain.
Nothing more than a bunch of self-righteous numbskulls. They think that abortion should be legal everywhere in the world, the hell what the people of that country think is acceptable, we’ll just come and skirt the laws you have deemed appropriate to live by.
The funny thing is that the same people who think this is admirable are the same ones that told the US that we had no right to meddle in the affairs of other countries (i.e. Iraq). Which is it? Is it acceptable to force your beliefs on other countries or not?
Reply to Peeved GuyI want to know the last time Peeved Guy was raped and impregnated
Reply to RacerXThere ya go! When you can’t out-debate them, make a rape joke.
Reply to Shawn WassonYou obviously have never know a girl who’s been raped and wound up pregnant. Luckily, in this country that girl has a choice for herself.
