Denver Police Slam CODEPINK Protester
You know, far be it from me to defend the loons in CODEPINK but these cops were being more than just a little too aggressive. The officer who knocked the first protester to the ground was clearly frustrated and he overreacted. You can also here one of the other officers call a protester ‘bitch’ in the melee. I was just thinking that, other than a few arrested abortion protesters, the police action in Denver has been pretty quiet - than this comes along.

Alex Jones (of InfoWars.com/Prisonplanet.com) was on a local radio program and remarked that the police were being very professional and restrained. So, this should be seen as an isolated incident and not something that is widespread.
I thought of a few things when I saw this:
First we don;t know if (or how) the officer was provoked before he slammed her since the camera was pointed in a different direction, for all we know, she struck him (I’m just playing devil’s advocate here).
Second - You ain’t in Kansas anymore Toto. Denver is not San Francisco. I think the SFPD is a bit more tolerant of some things than the DPD is.

It’s true we don’t really know what went down beforehand but the use of force didn’t seem like an appropriate response.
